The rainy weather broke in time for a beautiful morning service for Andover's veterans. While there was not a parade this year the Andover Legion and local clergy assured that the day did not go unmarked.
Honors were held both at Hillside Cemetery and Heaven's Gate. In addition to honoring the sacrifices of Andover's service men lost in conflicts beginning at the Civil War, veterans who passed in the past year were also honored for their service. Andover lost 18 veterans in the last year and the list is posted below.
We thank the men and women who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and community.
