It's hard to reconcile that summer is coming to a close and Fall will soon be here. However Fall in Western NY has a lot to offer! Fall in Andover New York is a beautiful time with colorful foliage carpeting the hills welcoming leaf peepers from near and far. It's a time for apple cider, pumpkin picking, and our internationally renowned haunted house.

In the spirit of welcoming tourists to the small village of Andover the former Andover Ponds have been renamed by supreme decree* to America Ponds to let all of America know that our ponds are your ponds (not really, they're our ponds, but you can visit). The Town of Andover has declined to put up any new signage since they didn't have much signage in the first place.
This change does not come without controversy. Several Canadian Geese were asked for comment about the recent renaming of their home turf, or pond if you will, and all refused to discuss the matter civilly.
One local (human) resident stated "You can't just rename things [name redacted]. That's not how this works. Did you even talk to the mayor about this?"**

*no one decreed anything. It's a joke. Live a little.
**I did not talk to the mayor about this. He probably would have said no.
